  • When will the Twofer Ticket Deal be available?
    The Twofer ticket deal is available now! It's only here until September 30 so hurry!
  • Can the Twofer be used for children?
    Yes! The Twofer is for ages 5 and up!
  • My child is 4, do they need an Admission ticket?
    No, children 4 and under do not need an Admission ticket. However, if they wish to ride attractions, they will need a Ride Wristband or Ride ticket. Ride tickets will be sold during the Fair at the North American Midway Entertainment (NAME) ticket booths on the Midway. Please be advised that children under 42 inches may be required to ride some of the attractions with a paying adult rider for safety purposes.
  • Are the concerts and rodeo included in admission?
    Yes! All concerts and the rodeo are included in admission!
  • When will advance ticket sales end?
    Our advance ticket sales will end Thursday, October 26! Get your tickets now to avoid the lines!
  • How much are tickets?
    Ticket prices vary depending on discounts available and day of the week.   • Can I buy tickets at the Ticket Office?
    Yes, but the Ticket Office will not open until the Fair begins on Friday, October 27, 2023. We recommend purchasing your tickets on online! From August 1- October 26, 2023, the Greater Gulf State Fair offers advance ticket pricing! Click here to find our more information on how to purchase advance tickets!
  • How will I receive my tickets if I bought them online?
    Tickets will be emailed or texted to the email address or number provided in your order. They must be scanned at the gate for entry. You can print them off or show your phone to the Gate staff. If you need your ticket resent to your email or phone please click HERE! Pro Tip: Screenshot your ticket QR code in case cell service is spotty!
  • Can I use tickets that I bought from last year's Fair?
    No, you will not be able to use General Admission, Unlimited Ride Wristbands, or Fast Pass Wristbands purchased from the 2022 Greater Gulf State Fair.
  • I bought the Twofer. Can it be used for two visits?
    No, the Twofer can only be used for one visit. Both parties must arrive at the same time.
  • What is included in my general admission ticket?
    A general admission ticket to the Greater Gulf State Fair includes access to all on ground entertainment acts, concerts, and more! This means you can enjoy all the Fair has to offer without any extra charges. However, some activities, rides, and food concessionaires may require additional fees. Make sure to check with individual vendors for pricing information.
  • Can I return or exchange my unused tickets?
    No, all General Admission, Unlimited Ride Wristbands, Fast Pass Wristbands, and Ride Tickets are final sale.
  • Why do I only have one ticket for my Twofer pack?
    If you bought the Twofer Ticket pack, your ticket will be one ticket to scan at the entry doors. Make sure that both parties using the Twofer arrive at the same time in order for your ticket to be valid!
  • What are your Fair hours?
    The 2023 Greater Gulf State Fair will run October 27 - November 5, 2023! Gates will open Friday, October 27, at 4 p.m. Hours of Operation:
  • Where is the Fair located?
    The Greater Gulf State Fair is located at 1035 Cody Road North, Mobile, AL 36608.
  • Do you have a Clear Bag policy?
    In order to maintain a safe, entertaining environment, the Fair has a Clear Bag Policy. The policy is alike to those used at major sporting events and other events in the country. Any and all bags will be subject to search upon arrival and any bags that exceed the permitted size will not be allowed.
  • Do I have to pay for Parking?
    The Greater Gulf State Fair offers free parking! We also offer Preferred Parking for $10.00, that is located directly in front of the main entrance to the Fair.
  • Do you offer Handicapped Parking?
    Yes! Handicapped parking is available.
  • When visiting the Greater Gulf State Fair, what rules should I expect to follow?

  • After 7 P.M. Minors Policy
    After 7:00 P.M. CST, any patron under the age of 17 is required to be accompanied by a parent/guardian to enter the Fair. We may ask for ID as proof of age. The ID must be valid and non-expired. Any patron under the age of 17 without a valid ID who is not accompanied by a parent/guardian will not be admitted after 7:00 P.M. CST.
  • Are pets allowed at the Fair?
    We ask that you please leave your pets at home, pets are not permitted on the Fairgrounds. Do not leave them in your vehicle. Emotional Support animals are not allowed on the Fairgrounds. Only service animals defined by the Americans with Disability Act are allowed on our facilities.
  • Is smoking allowed at the Fair?
    Smoking is not permitted at the Fair.
  • Are concealed weapons allowed at the Fair?
    Knives and Guns are prohibited on The Grounds, with or without a valid Alabama permit to carry. Failure to comply with this rule shall rule result in removal from The Grounds. For more information in regards to the Greater Gulf State Fair's policies and prohibited items, click here.
  • Can I bring my own food and beverages?
    Outside food and beverages are not allowed unless needed for medical purposes. Formula, milk, and food for infants/toddlers are permitted.
  • Can I bring bull horns, air horns, megaphones, or similar items into the fair?
    Bull horns, air horns, megaphones, and similar items are NOT allowed. Please leave these items at home or in your vehicle prior to entering the Fairgrounds. Use of these items on the fairgrounds is strictly prohibited and will result in the item being confiscated and could result in you being removed from the Fair.   • Can I bring large signs, large props, or similar items into the fair?
    Large signs or props are NOT allowed. Please leave them at home or in your vehicle prior to entering the fairgrounds will result in confiscation or related material and could result in you being removed from the Fair.
  • Can I bring selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, or other camera equipment into the Fair?
    Unless credentialed by The Greater Gulf State Fair admin team, selfie sticks , tripods, monopods, and similar items are NOT allowed. We ask that you leave your selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, and/or similar items at home or in your vehicle. The use of these items on the fairgrounds are strictly prohibited and will result in the item being confiscated and could result in you being removed from the Fair. If you are a photographer interested in taking photographs with professional or extensive camera equipment, please email us at info@mobilefair.com.
  • Can I ride a bicycle, skateboard or roller blade at the Fair?
    In the interest of the overall safety for our guests, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller skates, and/or other wheeled forms of transportation are prohibited inside the gates. Wagons and strollers to transport small children are approved.
  • Where can I find ride height requirements?
    Height requirements are found next to each ride on the Size Wize Chart. Please be advised that children under 42" may be required to ride some of the rides with a paying adult.
  • Is there live music at the Fair?
    Yes! We are proud to announce that we will be hosting a variety of local and regional acts at this year's fair. There will be something for everyone to enjoy! Stay tuned for the performance schedule, which will be posted on our website closer to the Fair. Don't miss out on the chance to see talented performers from all around the Gulf State region!
  • What kind of entertainment can I expect at the Greater Gulf State Fair?
    We are excited to announce a variety of on-ground entertainment acts for your enjoyment! Our lineup includes the Cowboy Circus, Rosaire's Royal Racers, Comedy Hypnotist Show, Agricadabra, Beneficial Bugs, and Glass Blowing. With something for everyone, our entertainment is sure to make your fair experience unforgettable! Our Entertainment Schedule will be out soon!
  • Where can I get information once I'm inside the Fairgrounds?
    Visit our "Guest Services" center located on our Midway!
  • What if someone gets lost?
    If you or someone in your group gets lost, please go to the Safety Center for assistance. The Safety Centers are equipped to help reunite lost individuals with their groups or families. Please remind your children of the importance of staying close to you and what to do if they get lost. The Greater Gulf State Fair takes safety and security very seriously, and we will do everything we can to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Where is First-Aid available?
    First Aid is available in our Safety Center located next to the Agricultural Museum. If you experience a true emergency during your time at the Fair, dial 9-1-1. EMS is located on-site and will be dispatched accordingly.
  • Do you have lost and found?
    Yes! If you lose an item you may want to stop by our Lost and Found located on the Midway at our Guest Services booth. If you realize you may have lost something after you have left the Fair, you can contact us at 251-344-4573 or info@mobilefair.com. Due to the seasonal nature of our event, our Lost and Found operates for an additional week after closing day of the Greater Gulf State Fair. We do not retain any items past that week.
  • Does the Fair have private areas for nursing mothers?
    The Greater Gulf State Fair features a "Family Center." The Family Center is located at the back of our Main Building. The Family Center provides parents and children with a safe, comfortable, and private atmosphere. Rocking chairs and diaper changing stations are also provided.
  • Why are similar items different prices throughout the Fairgrounds?
    The Greater Gulf State Fair is a collection of small businesses. The prices for concessions and rides are determined by the operators and concessionaires without input from the Greater Gulf State Fair.
  • What if I have to leave- can I come back?
    Yes, but a hand stamp and an admission ticket are required for re-entry.
  • Do You Have ATMs?
    Yes! We have multiple ATMs located around the Fairgrounds.
