The Barns at the Greater Gulf State Fair give life to the core of our organization, agricultural education. We partner with our local 4-H, local FFA chapters, and our Extension Office to bring the Greater Gulf State access to learn about one of the largest industries in the country right here in Mobile!
Through our partnerships with these organizations, we are able to host two Livestock shows and a Hog Sale. Please click on the images below to access the livestock guidebook. If you would like to participate in shows, please contact 4-H, FFA, or the Extension office.

2024 Barn Schedule
Our barns open to the public when gates open at the Fair. They close at 10 PM from Monday, October 25 through Saturday, November 2 and at 9 PM on Sunday, November 3. Please see the schedule below for Showmanship and Sale times.
Monday, October 28
FFA and 4-H Judging at 4 PM
Tuesday, October 29
FFA and 4-H Hog Showmanship Competition at 4 PM
FFA and 4-H Hog Sale at 6 PM
Saturday, November 2
Barn opens for 4-H Poultry Check-In at 9:30 AM
4-H Poultry Show at 12 PM
